Have you ever felt like less than enough?
Perhaps you know where you want to go. You’ve taken a few small steps but the road ahead seems long.
Perhaps you know what you want for your life. You’ve made a few small changes but it appears that you need to make some more.
Perhaps you’ve mapped out goals for yourself, but, despite your progress, you end up missing the mark.
It’s ok.
Having far to go doesn’t mean your steps thus far were in vain.
Needing to make some more changes doesn’t mean your progress is stagnant.
Falling short doesn’t mean you don’t measure up.
Remember, this is a journey, not a grand finale.
And so, every step taken is meaningful.
You may have far to go.
You may have more to do.
You may still miss the mark.
And, that’s ok.
You may be a work in progress, but don’t be discouraged.
You’re still a work of art.
Nicely put. Thank you for brightening my day!
Thanks, Rob, I’m happy to know that this spoke to you!
Perfect post! Thanks!
Just what I needed to hear today.
So happy to hear that, Linda!
Remember, my dear Angelina, in the immortal words of Ralph Wald Emerson:
“IT IS NEVER THE DESTINATION THAT MATTERS,
IT IS ALWAYS THE JOURNEY”
Your journey has just begun, travel on!!!
Uncle Edward
Thank you, Uncle Edward. To know that you walk beside me as I travel on means the world to me.
What a joy it was to read this.
A great reminder. Thanks
Angelina.
Thank you, Hazel!

I have just discovered you in your article about “Can Simple be Enough” in the Epoch Times and I am touched and moved by your wisdom. I struggle with thriving over surviving, feeling I am never doing enough and my life is not purposeful and I look forward to your following you on your blogs to see where it might take me.
Hi Susan. We can surely thrive – not just survive. Happy to share this journey with you, one which is traveled one small step at a time 🙂
